Hugo Young Theatre is a proscenium house that seats 724 and is used for many of the Ashland University theatre department’s main stage and student productions, the music department’s major concerts, Ashland Symphony Orchestra performances and other campus activities. The Ashland Symphony Orchestra is grateful for AU’s support in providing this facility as an in-kind donation.
Hugo Young Theatre is located at the corner of College Avenue and Grant Street. Parking is available on the street and in AU Parking Lot C. Parking Lot C is located on the south side of the building off College Boulevard. College Blvd is a one-way street from south to north and is accessible from Samaritan Avenue. Samaritan Ave runs parallel to College Avenue between King Road and Center Street (Route 60). Tickets may be purchase at the door, one hour prior to the start of the concert. Please note that no food or beverages are allowed in the theatre.
