It is my distinct honor to welcome you to the Ashland Symphony Orchestra's season to "Celebrate Ohio!"  In fact, I think the ASO is a shining example of the talent our great state has to offer and a perfect reason to celebrate.

From its beginnings as a college-community partnership to the professional orchestra on stage today, the modern incarnation of the Ashland Symphony Orchestra has enriched the lives of Ashland County residents for four decades.  And the ASO remains committed to our community.

Throughout the years, hundreds of people have worked tirelessly to strengthen the ASO artistically, financially and professionally.  Those of us fortunate enough to be involved today owe a huge debt to those who have gone before, and bear the responsibility for safeguarding the Symphony for future generations.

Thank you for your continuing support.  Your presence at concerts, your contributions to the annual fund campaign and your support of our various programs all help to keep the music playing for now and into the future.  Even in these challenging economic times, Ashland County has shown tremendous support.  Thanks to you, we look forward to celebrating many more anniversaries together!
